As a company deeply rooted in the learning sciences and evidence-based teaching practices, research and data are baked into our DNA.

Summary findings on Branching Minds' impact on student academic outcomes.
Led by Eva Dundas, our Chief Learning Officer, and Essie Sutton, our staff researcher, we've been working to measure the impact of our platform on student academic outcomes, and we're excited to share the highly positive findings from our first white paper, which you can access in its entirety here.

Key Findings
  • Supporting students on Branching Minds improves academic performance in reading and mathematics
  • Schools are able to implement the Branching Minds program with high levels of teacher engagement for delivering RTI/MTSS
  • The use of Branching Minds shows potential to improve teacher confidence in their own ability to support struggling students
We’ve also prepared a manuscript version to submit for peer-review. If you’d like to read more details of the study, or would be willing to give us feedback, we’d be happy to send that along!

NCLD case study highlights benefits seen at Rowan-Salisbury Schools

The National Center for Learning Disabilities recently published a case study on personalized learning and intervention in schools, highlighting how Branching Minds is helping staff at Rowan-Salisbury to personalize intervention for struggling students and improve collaboration among teachers.

Barbara Ward, who helps coordinate work with Branching Minds at Landis Elementary, reflected in the case study that "The district was looking for a tool that helped pinpoint areas of challenge and provided actionable steps to move forward for every struggling student. Branching Minds did that for us and made every player in our school part of a team."
